A holiday on a bike has a lovely ring to it. You work on your fitness, recharge and do something for your health. A holiday can be more than relaxing during spa treatments. Explore the countryside around Mariánské Lázně from the saddle. There are plenty of cycling routes here that anyone can enjoy. Some are harder, others easier. Some are shorter, others longer. They have one thing in common, though: they take you through a remarkable landscape that will win you over. We have put together a few tips for you, straight from local cyclists.
Mariánské Lázně at Lesní pramen (Forest Spring) - Lunapark - Kladská - Mariánské Lázně
The first half of this route is on the hilly side, but the destination is well worth it. Cycling in the middle of Slavkovský les (the Slavkov Forest) really is an experience. On the way out of town you pass Lesní pramen, the Forest Spring, where you can refresh yourself before the long climb. The climb past Lunapark to Kladská follows a quiet road with little traffic. At Kladská you can walk the Kladská nature trail, look into the Slavkov Forest House of Nature and have something to eat or drink in the restaurant or at the snack bar. The way back to town is mostly downhill, so the better the lunch or cake you treat yourself to, the faster you will roll down.
